Troubleshooting
For many issues, simply restarting the Chromebook by holding the power button down for a few seconds will get things working again.
If a Chromebook does not respond to the power button, hold down both the reset and power buttons together (pictured).
Return the Chromebook to the Library Media Center in your building if the suggestions on this page don't solve your issue.
A quick fix for many issues is to do the following:
Click the three-dot menu (upper-right corner) > Clear browsing data
(Older versions of Chrome may have More tools > Clear browsing data as the location)
Click Advanced tab, and change the drop-down to "All time"
Check Cookies and Cached
Click Clear data, shut down, & restart the Chromebook

Chromebook Asks for Old Passord
Click Forgot your old password > Continue Anyway. It will warn about lost data, but that refers to downloads on that particular device. Everything in Google Drive will remain untouched.
To get things working properly, it may be necessary to remove and then re-enable the Google Drive Service in Canvas:
In Canvas, click Account > Settings
Under Registered Services hover over the Google Drive item and click the red x to remove it.
Next, navigate to google.com/account.
Click Security > Manage third-party access.
Remove access for any listed as ‘Canvas,’ ‘Google Drive LTI by Canvas,’ or anything similar.
Sign out of your Google account.
Open your Canvas Account Settings and re-add Google Drive as a Registered Service.
Click the Google Drive link in any Canvas course and click Authorize.
A quick fix for this is to do the following:
Zoom in (make things bigger): Press Ctrl and +
Zoom out (make things smaller): Press Ctrl and -
Otherwise, click the Notification area > Settings to try these options:
Click Appearance > Page zoom and set to 100%
Click Displays > Resolution and make sure it is 1366 x 768, with Orientation set to Standard
Click Advanced > Manage accessibility features and set the slider for Enable screen magnifier to the off position
