Sanctuary

In the sanctuary the emphasis is on the salvation message and prayers. Extras of all of the handouts are in the brown wooden cabinet near the sound room door. Beth Fisher is coordinating this important group. You can contact her by emailing bethlehemwalk@mv-church.org 

Entry Door Greeter:  Greets the guests as they exit the city and directs them to leave through the church.

Sanctuary Greeter:  Invites guests to light a candle in the memory of someone or to say a prayer for someone.  If  the guests do not want to do this, they have the option to exit through the Narthex and the hallway.

Prayer Partner:  Offers to pray over the guests if they wish.

Candle Assistants:  Using a lighter, assists the guests in lighting a candle.  The candles are set in wooden trays and need to be switched out as the trays fill.

Narthex Guide:  Invites the guests to sign our guest list and hands out information pamphlets about our church.  This person also directs the guests to go through the doors into the hallway to exit and sometimes to where the bathrooms are.

Exit Greeter:  Gives out candy canes to the children and wishes them a Merry Christmas as they leave.
