Muscogee County School District is a large school district made up of seven traditional high schools and two magnet high schools.  Detailed information on each school can be found at muscogee.k12.ga.us.

Magnet schools and magnet programs in the school district have early application deadlines. 

The high school a student is assigned to is determined by the home address in Columbus, GA.  Students are expected to attend the high school for which he/she is zoned according the home address.  

The majority of the high schools, including Hardaway HS, are on a traditional high school schedule of 7 classes that run from August till May.  The exception is Jordan Vocational High School is offering block scheduling.

Hardaway is an International Baccalaureate (IB) magnet school and offers full IB Diploma, IB Career Certificate, or IB course options.  Full diploma and career tracks have an application process.  Contact the IB coordinator, Mr. Ashley Snow, for more information.  snow.ashley.b@muscogee.k12.ga.us
