"Nobody Hurt!" Broadside Collection
MS10-50 consists of a broadside titled “Nobody Hurt!” published on July 29, 1861 by the Alabama Beacon of Greensboro in response to the Confederate victory at the Battle of Manassas. It contains lyrics to a song sarcastically denouncing President Abraham Lincoln and the so-called Yankee invasion of the South.
This broadside was anonymously "Written by a Rebel" and sold to aid "our wounded troops in Virginia."
