Welcome to the third MSU HSMUN Conference!
The Murray State Model United Nations Conference is a simulation of the events of the United Nations. As students come together across the region, they are able to get a firsthand experience of international relations as they represent their assigned country and solve real-world issues.
We invite you and your school to join us at Murray State University to compete in the third annual Murray State Model UN Conference in Fall 2024. Whether you have an established team or are just looking to get started, the Murray State Model UN team is here to support you as you make this first step!
"The conference was an excellent opportunity for students to consider some of the topics we have covered in AP Human Geography from the perspective of their country. Many issues we have covered in class came up through the course of debate and discussion and the students were actively engaged throughout the conference--speaking with each other and researching/writing their resolutions through working together. We have a unit on political processes and this was an excellent opportunity for them to try something new and I think they did very well! Dr. Wood and her students were excellent to work with and I highly recommend this program to other teachers. "
