Newsela offers a wide selection of articles geared toward students in grades 2-12. MCSD has a subscription for all educators and students for Newsela Essentials. Newsela offers read-aloud support, options for student annotations, quizzes, and writing prompts. Articles can be assigned at different reading levels to help accommodate the diverse levels in a classroom, giving all students access to the content at their level. Articles are also printable for offline use.
