Overstaying a visa
It is a serious issue that will result in daily fines and possible deportation. This lapse will be stamped on students’ passports and become part of their records at the Immigration Bureau. The overstay fine is 500 THB per day, up to a maximum of 20,000 THB. If the overstay exceeds 40 days, students must leave the country.
*Remark: All the processes are subject to change due to the Thai Government's policies. Students are advised to check for up-to-date news, announcements, or other related information regularly.
