Photo 4

With 4 years of training, our photography 4 students have created quite a lot of stunning work. Even though there are only two of them, quality over quantity, right?

Angeles Vera

My name is Angeles Vera and I’m 17 years old. This is my fourth year doing photography. Before high school I always thought taking pictures was a fun way to spend my free time so when I knew there was a chance to learn how to make my photographs better I took it. I learned so many new things during my first year of photography that have stuck with me ever since. They were basic but crucial things that make up an amazing photograph. In these past 3 I’ve learned that photography just takes time and practice to get better. With experience you learn and see what things work and what doesn’t. My favorite types of photography are macro shots and black and white photography. With macro shots you can make something so ordinary seem extraordinary. You can create so many different photographs with simple objects. Black and white photography is amazing because of the contrast it can give a photo and its ability to change the entire mood of a photo. Photography is a way many people can express themselves.

Zoe Machuca

Hello! My name is Zoe Machuca and I am a Senior this year at Atwater High School. I have had such an amazing experience throughout my time in Photography. When it comes to what I like to capture in photography, I really love taking pictures of nature, macro (close up), portraits, and recently sports photography. I am also the President of this year's 2020-2021 GraFX officer club and I had the opportunity to make this ABSOLUTELY AMAZING website!

Since Atwater High School is such a small school in comparison to other larger recognized schools, I hope that you can support our work as photographers by purchasing a photograph, reaching out to us, and giving us some much needed feedback! Nonetheless, thank you also for taking the time to read this, and I really hope you enjoy my proudest work (and their extremely simple names) along with my classmates!
