A little about me... 

I grew up in the Verde Valley, and I am a Mingus alumni. While I was in high school, I loved playing sports and performing in the Theater Arts program here at Mingus.  After graduating high school, I went on to college and graduated from NAU with a double major in English Education and Performing Arts. Shortly after graduating from NAU, I was offered a job at Mingus. I have been a teacher at Mingus Union High School for 12 years now, and I LOVE my job! I was recently able to complete my Masters Degree in Adolescent Literacy. When I am not teaching, I love to be onstage acting in plays and musicals. It is because of theater that I was able to meet my husband! We love to perform onstage together, and spend time together hiking, and exploring the beautiful place that we live with our two dogs. One of our favorite places to visit is Disneyland! We bought our first house together four years ago  in Prescott Valley. I also love to read, horseback ride, and garden! We love to spend time with our family in Arizona and Louisiana. I am so excited to work with you this year!
