What is it that you will create? Fashion includes the clothes we wear as well as the accessories we use like scarfs, hats, shoes, bags, and jewelry. Masks are a new item in our world that could be considered fashionable as well. Here are some examples of some fashion sketches. *If you want to stop here for your weekly lesson you may! But consider the other steps in the process if you were to actually create your item :)

What will your fashion be made out of? What color or texture fabric will you use? Maybe you will use recycled materials instead of fabric. Paper, plastic bags, cardboard, soda cans?
Step 3: Create your fashion

How will you construct your art? Will you sew it, tape it, glue it etc? Many fashion designers create patterns out of paper before they begin on fabric. What are any issues that come up as you work, how will you solve those issues? Make sure to revise your design as needed.

Have a fashion show, take pictures, show off your art!
