In your Materials page on your Course, click on the Options button and select Save Course to Resources. This will save all your Course's materials to your Home Collection in your Personal Resources. Watch the Save Course to Resources video below.
Any assignments, folders, links, discussions, etc. that have been added to the Course using the 'Add Materials' button will be saved as templates in your Personal Resources. Any student/member submissions like assignments, discussion posts, Google Drive Assignment attachments, or member data will not be included. In other words, all course materials are ready to be used as a 'new' assignment for your next set of students/members when you add this material to a new course. Also, Updates and Announcements will not be saved, only course materials.
No. All courses that were automatically created (already rostered with students) at the beginning of the school year will be archived automatically, once the school year is over. You should start receiving a notice in your Course about seven days before the end of the grading period that your Course will be archived.
All Archived Courses can be found by going to Courses > My Courses (far right) and then selecting the Archived tab. All archived courses are never permanently deleted.
All help videos and directions on how to do this will be available closer to the new school year, once new Schoology Courses are rostered and available for classroom teachers.
No. There is no option to "save" your gradebook setup in your Resources. Although, there is a way to copy any paste gradebook setups from previous years and apply it to any new course(s). Directions on how to do this will be available prior to next school year.
