Yes, there is a way to conduct a Pear Deck lesson with all students, at the same time, remotely (read below). But, if you want students to participate in a Pear Deck lesson, at their own pace, you can do so by assigning a student-paced lesson.
For those of you willing to learn how to use Pear Deck remotely, here's an excellent article called Keeping Classrooms Connected with Pear Deck. It goes over the steps on how to open a separate window to start your presentation, then go back to your conference call (Zoom or Google Meet) to share your screen. These two steps are what's required to be able to run a synchronous Pear Deck session remotely.
