Earning XP$

Every economy in the world depends on a system of currency. Currency allows individuals to trade for the things they want and need. Our wants and needs include goods and services. 

Our classroom currency is called XP$. Your goal is to earn enough XP$ during the cycle to pay for the things you want.

Each day you come to class is an opportunity to earn XP$. 

We pay you to come to class!

D5 Classroom Wallets

The XP$ you earn can be safely stored in your classroom wallet.

Every student will have a classroom wallet to store some money for emergencies.

Class wallets don't pay interest, but your LMS online bank will. (See Tools for Saving)

Your Classroom Job

The STUDENT INTERNSHIP job is your first opportunity to earn XP$. 

Best advice is to find your talents and TRY YOUR BEST! 

STUDENT INTERNS are paid a "living wage" which means it pays enough to cover most of your basic needs. It's important to look for other opportunities to earn extra XP$.

STUDENT INTERNS are paid XP$375 per Month. (XP$750 Total for the Cycle)

XP$ in Google Classroom

Google Classroom is a great space to look for (or Mine) XP$. 

Most XP$ opportunities can be found on a Question or Assignment Post. (See below)

Spotting XP$

XP$ is paid at the completion of a task assignment.

Some Assignments are Required; Others are Optional.

Complete more assignments to earn more XP$.

XP$ Bonuses

Sometimes XP$ Bonuses are paid on a class challenge.

You have the option to complete the class challenge or earn XP$ someplace else.

Growing XP$

Moby's Investor Challenge is a good example of growing XP$.

You can Invest your XP$ with the potential to earn more XP$. (See Tools for Investing)

Investing is the opportunity to grow your XP$. Imagine sending your XP$ out into the world where it makes lots of friends (more XP$) and brings everyone back to your house. You will learn about investing during the cycle, understand the risk and the rewards.
