21st Century Life Skills is designed to teach students how a simple economy works through practical application. Money (XP$) is the language of the economy and holds four (4) attributes: Earning, Spending, Saving, and Growing. As a student, it is very important for you to understand and become proficient with these attributes.

AP = Advanced Proficient
P = Proficient
PP = Partially Proficient
LP = Limited Proficient
NP = Not Proficient
Descriptions:
Advanced Proficient - XP$2,500
defined as, "I know how to do something and can actually teach this skill to others." The cost of an AP grade is currently XP$2,500.
Proficient - XP$2,000
defined as, "I know how to do this." Most students are able to achieve proficiency with time, practice, and repetition. The cost of a P grade is currently XP$2,000. Proficient is the "A" in the classic sense as you have the confidence to apply skills anyplace, anytime!
Partially Proficient - XP$1,500
defined as, "I know how to do most things, but not everything, and sometimes I need some help." This is a solid "B" in the classic sense and it shows you care enough to try your best! Want to move up to a "P"? The answer is a little more TIME + PRACTICE.
Limited Proficent - XP$1,000
defined as, "I'm not sure I know how to do things?" Sometimes we need a little help and that's okay. With a little TIME + PRACTICE you can easily get the hang of things and move right up the ladder.
Not Proficient - XP$500>
Typically, everyone can do something. The question is "Did I really try?" If you don't have much XP$ and worry about this situation, you can always come up with a plan. Take a look at the classroom jobs; maybe there is something you missed? Come up with an idea for a project; maybe we can think of something new? Scroll through Google Classroom; there is lots of opportunity for XP$!
