VES Monthly Curriculum Highlights

The Inclusive Curriculum Committee, compromised of educators and administrators, is responsible for bringing more diverse representation into our district's K-4 Curriculum. Our team provides teachers with the necessary resources and essential information to conduct in depth conversations in their respective classrooms. We at VES pride ourselves in knowing that diversity is infused in our curriculum each school week.

Below you will find ways to have similar dialogue with your child at home. We encourage families to converse about the month's Pillar of Character and the month's designated celebration. We also recommend that you pose the shared questions at the dinner table and during a family read aloud.
