Grading Protocol 

The UMS Grading Profile for Math/Language Arts/Science/Social Studies is as follows:

• 50%: Major Assessments

• 40%: Minor Assessments

• 10%: Classwork/Homework

No one grade shall be more than approximately 25% of the marking period grade.

Grades should be spaced throughout the marking period.

Grades should be returned and posted within the following time frame: 

• Tests/Major assessments: Within 6 school days of test date

• Projects: Within 10 school days of due date

• Quizzes: Prior to the summative assessment
