MathCounts is a national math enrichment, coaching, and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement in every U.S. state and territory. MathCounts is one of the most successful education partnerships involving volunteers, educators, industry sponsors, and students. MathCounts is open to 7th and 8th graders who enjoy math, like solving math problems and puzzles, and want to meet other students with this common interest. Tryouts will be in mid-October. The top 30 students will make the MathCounts team. We will meet monthly on Wednesdays from November through April. Go to this website for more information.
