–Read! Read! and then READ some more!
–Practice math facts
(Math Fact Lab, Dice, Websites, Flashcards, Songs)
–Look for spelling patterns in books
–Writing – stories, emails to family, journal/diary
-- Explore a science or history topic of interest
-- Do a puzzle or play a logic game, like Sudoku or a crossword puzzle (There are really fun apps online!)
Try "Bedtime Math" ... it's a fun math app for kids of all ages.
