  • Science Units:
      • Unit 1A: Understanding Systems
          • Human Body Interdisciplinary Project- Students will collaborate in teams to explain how a system works by communicating this information in a variety of creative ways.
      • Unit 1B: Waves and Energy
          • During this Unit we will investigate questions like Where does energy come from? How is energy used? How is energy transferred? What are sources of energy, both renewable and nonrenewable?
      • Unit 2: Processes that Shape the Earth
          • Finally, students will investigate if the earth changes and how this happens. They will also look for patterns they notice in the earth's change.
      • Unit 3: Animal Response- Structure and Function
          • The students will explore how muscles and bones work to move your body, how eyes work, and how the brain controls your body.
