Welcome, Cadets! This is a semester course with an optional second semester of a teaching internship. During this semester Cadets will
recognize the various ways learners develop cognitive, emotional, and social skills
learn about the diverse needs of students, including those who are gifted and talented, those with learning disabilities, and those with other barriers that impede their learning.
explore various educational theories
recognize the importance of classroom management
learn about different teaching methods and strategies
apply teaching methods and strategies to create effective lesson plans
develop a personal philosophy of education.
