All About Mrs. Mount

Welcome! I’m so excited to begin another wonderful school year and look forward to getting to know you and your child. I’d like to share a little bit about my background and teaching experience.

I attended college at the University of Pittsburgh and Rutgers University.  I have been teaching for nearly 20 years, and this will be my fifth year at Orchard Hill Elementary. It has been such a rewarding place to teach, and I feel fortunate to be part of this wonderful school community.

Outside of school, I am the proud mother of two daughters. My oldest is beginning her second year of college, and my younger daughter will be a high school junior. I still remember their kindergarten days like they were yesterday. Those years were filled with so much growth, excitement, and joy, and they remain some of my favorite memories as a parent. My family enjoys going to the beach, attending Penn State football games, and spending time with our dogs.

I am looking forward to working alongside Ms. Pender to create a warm, supportive, and exciting kindergarten experience for your children.
