Student achievement and citizenship are at the heart of Montgomery Township School District’s commitment to our students everyday. As we all know, this begins with our children's introduction to kindergarten at Orchard Hill Elementary School.  Surprisingly, Montgomery is among only 20 of the 599 operating school districts and 87 charter schools in New Jersey without full-day kindergarten.  The benefits of a full-day experience for our youngest learners are rooted in academic learning and social-emotional growth.  Other considerations are necessary safety upgrades and the minimal fiscal impact of this initiative.
