The Mequon-Thiensville Beginning Band Program offers students the opportunity to begin small group instruction on a Woodwind, Brass, or Percussion instrument.  

This opportunity is available to every student regardless of any previous instrumental experience!  We want your child to play an instrument that they not only enjoy, but also one that they will be successful on and can see themselves continuing with through middle school.

Balanced instrumentation is an important aspect of a quality ensemble experience. Just like a baseball team needs players in each position, our band will sound its best when we have the full variety of instruments playing together. Please encourage your child to check out the instrument demonstration videos below and select their top three instrument choices.
