Words of the Month

Once per month, our community receives direct instruction in a "word of the month". These words support skills and knowledge that help students demonstrate our big three expectations (Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn) while also building their ability in AVID skills, Workforce Readiness Skills, and CASEL Social-Emotional Competencies. This instruction ensures students are explicitly taught what the word of the month is and--as appropriate--looks like, sounds like, and why it is important to their learning within the Donges Bay Community.
