I like to spend my free time outdoors with my friends and family. I enjoy going taking trips to the mountains and taking in the beauty of nature. I often feel refreshed and recharged after spending time outside.
My sister is my best friend. We are 15 months apart and have been inseparable our whole lives. She has shaped me into the person I am today and has always stood behind my dream of become an educator. I anticipate her presence in my future classroom, as she brings a variety of different things to the table that I could incorporate into my curriculum that the students would love.
My cultural background is full German. My last name, "Koch" translates from German to English as "Cook." However, English is my first and only language. A lifelong goal of mine is to visit Germany and meet some of my ancestors and learn more about the culture.
I am from the City of Chestermere. However, when I first moved here, it was only a small town. This forced me to step out of my comfort zone of familiarity and I learned to become comfortable with the idea of expanding myself at a young age.
I love to spin! I believe in living a healthy lifestyle and I participate in spin as my choice of fitness. I find that spin helps me to relive stress, improves my memory, helps me to sleep better, and boots my overall mood. I always look forward to getting on a bike.
