Q: How much do tickets cost?

A: Film Night tickets (in-person & live stream) will cost $~24.00, which includes service fees.

Q: What is included in my ticket to the event?

A: Your ticket will provide you with entry to the venue to view films and photos. While at the venue, you are free to explore the booths set up in collaboration with campus clubs and our Alumni Chapter, purchase exclusive stickers and merchandise, bid on silent auction items, and participate in other fun and engaging activities. Also included with your ticket is your live stream link, as well as a sense of pride for supporting the ETOL community! Should you choose to stay home (due to illness or other), you can still watch Film Night from the comfort of your couch!

​Q: Are tickets available at the door?

A: Yes! Tickets will be available at the door, though seating may be limited.

Q: Do I need to bring my tickets with me to the event or can they look me up by name?

A: You will need to bring your tickets with you, either printed out or digitally on your device. If you have purchased a live stream only ticket, you will not be granted access to the in-person event as seats are limited.

Q: How will I get access to the livestream?

A: A link to our Livestream will be emailed to everyone who purchased a Ticket prior to the event.

Q: What browser do I need for the livestream?

A: Any browser that supports Youtube should work (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

Q: How do I vote on the film for the Esker Award and photos in the contest?

A: During the event, after all of the eligible films and photographs have been viewed, audience members can use their devices to access a survey released at the event and vote for the film they believe should win the Esker Award. The same process will apply to the photo contest.

Q: How do I submit a film or photo to the contest?

A: You may submit your work to etolfilmnight@gmail.com. Please check our film and photo submission guidelines.

Q: Will I be able to buy merchandise at Film Night?

A: Yes! There will be a merchandise table at the event with various items for sale.  Most will be for pre-order.

Q: Will I be able to use cash for in-person merchandise purchases at Film Night?

A: Yes we will be accepting cash and debit/credit card for in-person purchases! The pick-up for orders will be scheduled afer the event and sent via an email.

Q: What kind of merchandise is being sold this year?

A: There will be t-shirts, crewneck sweaters and ball caps for purchase with 5 designs and 3 colours to choose from. As well, stickers from previous years will be available for purchase at 2$ per sticker. Stickers will be available in person and apparel will be available for pre-order.

Q: When will I be able to pick up my merchandise?

A: Pickup from MRU will be scheduled once they are produced and delivered. Orders for merchandise will be placed on the 10th of November and an email will be sent with a date when they are available for pickup. 

Q: Will there be a silent auction like last year?

A: Not only is there an ONLINE SILENT AUCTION (link tbd) with 12 prizes to be won. There is also an ONLINE 50/50 RAFFLE (link tbd) and an in-person draw totaling over $10,000 in value!

Q: How do I make a donation or contribute an item for the silent auction?

Q: How can I support the film night if I am not able to attend the event?

A: You can make a donation here, share our event on social media with your friends, or contribute a film, photo, or silent auction item. You can also attend our livestream!
