ETOL students must possess a valid Wilderness and Remote Emergency Response certificate by the start of their 4th year in the program.
This course will complete the graduation requirement. Please note that the 80 hour Advanced Wilderness 1st Aid is becoming standard for many roles within the outdoor sector (see below). You can find out more on Rocky Mountain Adventure Medicine's website.
This course will also complete the 1st Aid graduation requirement as well as the Advanced Certificate requirement. In addition to this, RMAM offers this course to ETOL students for a discounted rate on campus over reading week of the Winter semester. You can find out more about it below.
