Piece description:

"With my artwork, I am displaying the idea of flowers blooming from the circle of partnership. There are two beings represented by the eyes who are drawn in a circle to showcase a world of wholeness and colour where the relationship can be nurtured and thrive. Sprouting from the circle are flower beds that are meant to symbolize the relationship being nourished by the outside environment. This environment is the community of friends, family and other important relationships that are needed for a healthy support system. The two beings each have their own colour and also take on the colours of the other showing how healthy relationships create spaces for exchange, but the individual sense of self is still maintained. Overall, healthy relationships to me are creative ones that can be sources of immense, joy, celebration and ease that are fostered with the help of one’s community."
