Calgary, In Relation: is a five-day immersive field school course that invites students to deepen their relationship with land and water in Calgary. Guided by Elders and knowledge holders, students will learn Indigenous histories and ways of being with land while visiting culturally and naturally important sites in and around Calgary. Through Elder teachings, shared travel, time on the land, and creative reflection, students will develop a richer, more relational understanding of Calgary and a deeper appreciation for Indigenous knowledge systems as living, contemporary, and grounded in land.
