“Through the project the participants also focused on sustainability finding ways to reduce plastic packaging while shopping and food waste. Based on their experiences of tasting and cooking together with local ingredients, the participants learned about healthy food made from scratch and came to appreciate it comparing it to “fast food “ as well as appreciating different kinds of food tastes and textures related to the differnet cultures.
Our intention was to focus on the 12th goal of UN which is “Responsible consumption and production” raising an overall awareness about sustainability, reduction of food waste and plastic pollution on European and local level. In order to register the outcomes and reflections of project the participants continuously followed innovative and creative ways of using IT.”
