Positive Incentives

Positive incentives are used to encourage and recognize the Star Core Values.

Star Bucks are a type of currency used when students are caught demonstrating any of our Star Core Values.

Star Bucks can be entered into the weekly Star drawing. These are instant prizes such as small toys, erasers, and notebooks.

Students can save their Star Bucks and choose to buy coupons at the Star Store.

Star VIPs are spirit day participants who are being recognized by their teachers for individual achievements.

Merit Badges are incentives earned as a class for positive behaviors . Merit badges are displayed at the front of the school.

Shining Stars are North's students of the month. These students are selected due to their outstanding displays of the Star Core Values.
