Scouts is for boys and girls aged between 11 and 15 years old. Each Scout is a member of their scout group’s “Scout Troop”. Scouts in the troop are organised into groups called Patrols with a Patrol Leader (PL) and Assistant Patrol Leader (APL).
Mt Mugga’s Scout Troop meet during school terms on a Tuesday evening from 6:45pm to 8:45pm at the Mt Mugga Scout Hall, although there are frequent activities held outside of the hall’s premises. For more information please contact scouts@mtmugga.com.au or membership@mtmugga.com.au.
Scouts allows boys and girls to develop their confidence and learn to work as part of a team. Scouts learn essential outdoor safety skills as well as participate in a variety of physical and intellectual activities.
Our Scout Leaders (Scouts@MtMugga.com.au) are:
Nic Smelt: Scout Leader
Cathy Dickson Assistant Scout Leader
Julianne Tanner - Assistant Scout leader
Alan Laing (GL): Assistant Scout Leader support
Please, please, please don’t leave your Scout at the Hall without first checking that the Scout Leaders are present. The hall is often open before the Scout Leaders arrive because the Joeys meet immediately before.
Existing members of our Scout Troop can see the term plan and their badgework by logging in to Scout Central with their Scouts ID and their password.
If you don’t know your Scouts ID, it’s on your Scout Membership card, alternatively you can email the Membership Secretary using our Contact Us form. If you don’t know your password, use the Lost Password link on the Login page.
