The Māori Education Trust 2021 Scholarship Programme is open and offers scholarships to Māori secondary school and tertiary students who meet the respective scholarship’s criteria.
The 2020 Secondary Scholarship Programme is made up of the following scholarships:

This year the RNZCT is again offering Tertiary Scholarships of $3000 each towards the first year of under-graduate tertiary study, as outlined on our website here:https://rainbownzcharitabletrust.org.nz/what-we-fund/. This will also show you our past winners.
We welcome applications from all LGBTI+ identifying students intending any course of study at any University within New Zealand.
We have scholarships available for international students studying postgraduate diploma, graduate diploma, bachelor, New Zealand diploma and certificate programmes at any of our three campuses.
Regardless of your background, If you are planning to enrol in an undergraduate degree then there are a wide range of scholarships you can apply for.
Scholarships for school leavers open on 20 June. Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm (NZT) on 15 August.
If you are a new student here at the University of Auckland, you may be eligible for a scholarship - regardless of your background or where you live.

his is a friendly reminder that the POPO Foundation Programme Scholarship 2021 will open for applications on 1 July 2020.
Applications will open on 1 July 2020 and close on 15 August 2020. Please encourage students to apply as soon as soon as applications open. Specific application information and market materials for you to use in your community to follow.
The POPO Foundation Programme is for Pacific students intending on studying Health Sciences at University. Foundation Year offers a university entrance qualification recognised by all New Zealand universities and the qualification prepares students academically for their first year of study.
What does the Scholarship provide?
- A guaranteed place in a University of Otago Residential College
- A subsidy towards the accommodation fees at a University of Otago Residential College
- Private tutorials for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths
- A dedicated, full-time Programme Coordinator
- Progress and attendance monitored to keep students on track
- Mentoring with senior students to aid in adjusting to life at Otago

Applications are now open! Every year we award two scholarships in recognition of exceptionally well rounded students who demonstrate enthusiasm for the Tourism industry and a commitment to excelling within their studies. One Hospitality Management student and one Adventure Tourism Management student will be recipients of the 2021 scholarships. The QRC Scholarship provides cover for one years tuition fees - a value of $13,312, which in conjunction with Fees Free enables our level 6, 21 month diplomas to be completed with virtually no course costs.
Keystone trust offers a number of Scholarships to School Leavers that are heading into tertiary education.
As one of the most significant scholarships available to property and construction students, they not only include financial assistance but also offer a mentoring programme and networking opportunities that are an invaluable part of your learning experience.
Each of these scholarships has its own criteria.

Over the last 40 years Freemasons New Zealand in conjunction with The Freemasons Charity have funded several million dollars of Post Graduate and Graduate Scholarships at all New Zealand Universities. These are open to all but are awarded on academic excellence and the community involvement of students.
AUT’s Secondary Schools Scholarship Programme gives New Zealand secondary school students the opportunity to study at AUT with the benefit of a scholarship. Full information on all scholarships for school leavers is available from the AUT scholarships database.

Te Uru Rākau is offering 8 forestry scholarships for students who:
begin study in the 2021 academic year
enrol in a Bachelor of Forestry Science or Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) with a major in forest engineering.
The scholarships aim to increase the number and diversity of people studying forestry, particularly Māori and women. This is to ensure we have highly-trained people entering the forestry sector.
The scholarship scheme has been running since 2018 and has awarded 14 scholarships to date.

Following on from our email in May, we have taken time to review and reflect on the purpose and structure of our Scholarship programme to ensure we are aligned to PwC’s purpose of solving important problems in society. As a result, we have refocused our offering.
At this point, we need to summarise that we are reducing the number of scholarships offered and lifting the level of support and mentoring attached to them.
5 PwC School Scholarships – These are for students who are facing personal or financial hardship
2 Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu scholarship- These are for students with Māori heritage

PwC School Scholarship
5 PwC school Scholarship will be offered for students who have personal or financial hardship that may impact their opportunity to access tertiary education. Please note, there is an opportunity for students with financial or personal hardship to highlight their circumstances as part of the online application. This is for students who without a Scholarship may struggle to attend University.
This Scholarship is focussed on giving local talent the best start possible by providing financial support during university and having a PwC mentor.
PwC School Scholarship details:
$7,000 towards university fees and course-related costs
A PwC staff member to mentor the Scholarship winner during their tertiary studies
Access to business networks amongst the best and brightest minds in New Zealand at our social and scholarship events
The opportunity to learn about what we do behind the scenes
An opportunity to be interviewed for a paid Summer Internship in penultimate year of study
Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu Scholarship
Adorn the bird with feathers so it can fly
If we give the bird what it needs then it will thrive
This whakataukī speaks to the notion and the purpose of our Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu scholarship. We will provide opportunity for young Māori talent to build their ngā kete mātuaranga (baskets of knowledge), in a safe, protected and nurturing environment, then they will be equipped and empowered to fulfil their purpose, and ultimately thrive and prosper as an individual and future leader of their whānau, hapū, iwi and wider community.
2 Scholarships will be offered to young Māori talent, these are new scholarships and were created in partnership with our Manukura Maori Business Team.

A PwC staff member (Manukura Māori Business Team) to mentor the candidate during their university study
