Honoraria for international visitors for services performed in the US is subject to complex visa constraints and IRS liabilities. Honoraria is normally subject to 30% IRS withholding unless a treaty is applicable between the foreign visitor's country of residence and the United States. To claim treaty benefits, the visitor must have a SSN or an ITIN.

If your visitor is from any of these countries, they may travel using a Visa Waiver. The visa waiver is the equivalent of the tourist visa or B1/B2.
Please complete information about the visitor, the event and the honorarium that will be paid.
You will be given the choice to a) collect all the paperwork yourself or b) request that FS collects the paperwork

Remember: Checks are printed on Tuesdays and Fridays so to allow timely processing by Accounts Payable, the check request must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the visit.
