• I learned how to write instructions clearly, i.e., what is needed to write clear instruction (also the importance of diagrams) and how to work together with others (clear verbal communication).

• Communication skills is important. When instruction is not clear enough, people can't follow, so the algorithm cannot work. The problem cannot be solved. Work in team gives us more ideas so that the solution of a problem is easier to see.

  - my takeaway is how I describe actions in my head/terms doesn't get translated properly when others are following it. I'm really curious on how I can improve this skill and incorporate vocab that better explains what I want to say

• - communication skills: having specific enough instructions to convey task to others w/o confusion (also detail oriented)
  - strategic planning: assessing task and materials at hand before proceeding w/task that's given

• - don't forget to include tools in material list
  - separating out tasks for different people can be really helpful in pre-emptively dividing work

• Communication through text is a lot harder, things that seem obvious while writing instructions easily get lost. Working in a team on an unfamiliar task even when neatly divided instructions are provided doesn't really work. Someone needs to know what is happening.

• Problem solving and communication are very much intertwined and with being able to communicate your problems and where you are with the task the easier it is to solve that problem with also being efficient at the same time.
  I think initiative is also important with getting a head start at things, and it is important to also be confident in that sense even if the task is something that is new.

• Communication: My instructions definitely could've used some double-checking; for example my sense of measurement was off, resulting in a waste of time for the executing group. My sense of perception can differ from others.
  Teamwork: There's a lot of value to be had from learning new skills from teammates -- like making flowers!

• - Working in a team of 3 others who I didn't know super well was a bit daunting at first, but when faced with a greater problem at hand, we were able to quickly fall into individual roles & collaborate on creating our project.
  - Using communicative skills to write out our algorithm was very challenging as there were many different intricate parts we had to be super specific about. Thankfully, the other group was able to mostly comprehend & follow our instructions.

• - We collaborated as a team and divided work amongst ourselves!
  - We solved the problem of how to make the popsicle sticks stand up when we worked on the taping part together :) 

• I feel that our team did good modular teamwork, each taking initiative to do work towards the larger goal of a pretty flower bouquet. There was much to be had regarding the flower bouquet instructions that we wrote however. 

• 1. Communication Skills:
  When writing the instructions for the other group, small details were forgotten. All details must be communicated for accurate instructions.
  2. Ability to work in a team:
  Team work requires everyone to contribute either in work or ideas.

• This activity taught me a lot about problem solving and written communication skills. It was more difficult than I expected to coherently write out the building process. In the future, I would think more about how to convey the steps as we build.

• 1) This definitely took the ability to work/problem solve in a team.
  2) Communication skills both with your own team & written to help guide the other team.
