This 7-12 post-baccalaureate certification program is designed for individuals who already have a bachelor’s degree in English, biology, or history and leads directly to state certification to teach in middle schools and high schools. Our flexible courses and small class sizes offer a high-energy, hands-on learning environment, where professors provide personalized support to meet your educational needs and personal goals.
Because of our unique hybrid model, this secondary education certification program allows you to continue working while taking classes full-time for the first two semesters. Even when you aren’t on campus, you still have the full breadth of Mount Aloysius College student services available to you, including peer and professional tutoring, professional counseling, and career development. Students will be required to complete student teaching responsibilities for the last two semesters.
