Dr. Astle teaches writing at MSU. Previously, he has worked with the Corrections Education Program at Jackson College, MI.
Emma has worked with the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project and the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program. As a graduate student, she completed an independent study with Joyce (below) on grant writing and prison education programs.
Roland has experience working with SpeakOut! at Colorado State University and his research interests include writing program administration, digital humanities and prison writing.

A writing teacher and administrator at MSU, Joyce has also worked with the Prison Creative Arts Project through the University of Michigan.
Zinhle has experience teaching English and English Communication Skills as a university lecturer. She is interested in researching literacy practices from academic and community engagement contexts. She is also with the MSU writing center as the WAC Corrdinator.
