The Road Crew

Educators will use The Road Crew to help children ages 4–7 (PreK–Grade 1) learn to self-calm and communicate their emotions with words instead of expressing them with their bodies in an unhealthy way.. 

Universal Design for Learning keeps the play open to a wide range of sensory and cognitive abilities.

Student designers and researchers aim to compose the first playable classroom prototype with Child and Family Charities and additional Lansing PreK–Grade 1 rooms.
