-North Aurelius Elementary School/Jan.2021-June 2021
I began as a student teacher in a 4th grade classroom. Two weeks in, I was invited to be part of the Exceptional Teacher Program at Ferris and take over a 3rd grade classroom at North Aurelius. I accepted. I completed a long-term substitute position in a third-grade classroom. I taught hybrid-hyflex. I instructed a class of 23 students. I am familiar with all of the programs that North Aurelius uses, such as Go Math and Wonders. I can operate Zoom, Google Classroom, the doc cam and the smart board. I provided lessons that appeal to and met the needs of diverse learners. I gave assessments and used the results to plan and guide instruction.
