Language Teaching Experience

I have been an foreign language educator in Northern California for the past six years.  I stepped out of the classroom this year, but have still been private tutoring in Spanish.  This transition has allowed me to continue to advocate and support language learning while pursuing other career goals.  Throughout the MAFLT program, I was able to continue researching inclusive practices in the secondary foreign language classroom.  My presentation at MAFLT's FLEx Conference in December 2022 encouraged me to submit to present at the ACTFL conference in November 2023.  I am looking forward to continuing contributing to the field of foreign language teaching and learning.
