I am a high school English teacher, lifelong cat enthusiast, and graduate student alumni to the Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) program at Michigan State University. This website serves as a living portfolio and reflection space to document my work, growth, and learning throughout the MAET program.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in December 2022. Shortly after, I began teaching at a Warren Consolidated Schools high school in September 2023. As an early-career educator, I actively seek out new ideas, instructional strategies, and technologies, and I am intentional about refining what I learn in real classroom contexts. I view teaching as an iterative process.
While I am driven to continuously improve my practice, I also believe in acknowledging progress along the way. Learning (both professionally and personally) is not a race, but a journey shaped by reflection, experimentation, and persistence.
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
— Walt Disney
