Amelia Beesley (she/her/hers)
Currently a Senior at MSU, Amelia is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in ESS with a minor in Science, Technology, Environment, and Public Policy (STEPP). This past summer she was part of the Glassen Scholars Program, working as a Conservation Education Intern at Potter Park Zoo.
Her studies focus on environmental and natural resource law and policy, as well as renewable energy policy.
Amelia loves music, crocheting, thrifting, theatre, video games, and spending time with friends and family.

Dan Trautner (he/him/his)
Currently a Senior at MSU, Daniel is pursuing a bachelor's degree in ESS, building on his previous Business and Marketing degrees from LCC. His recent work includes conducting field research at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore with the Park Connections Lab. This past summer, he explored the potential of renewable technologies in Oahu, Hawaii, with a focus on their impact on local communities.
His studies focus on implementing renewable energy systems and green technologies in urban and rural developments to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.
In his free time, Dan enjoys volunteering, running, playing soccer, weightlifting, hiking, and cooking!

Ben Borashko (he/him/his)
Currently a Senior at MSU, Ben is majoring in ESS with minors in STEPP, GIS, and Natural Resource Recreation Management. He currently works for Meridian Township as the Red Cedar River Waterway Stewardship Intern. He is also a campus tour guide.
With his degree, he hopes to work for the public sector either in land conservation or trail development. He hopes to foster a greater community appreciation for the environment through recreation.
In his free time, you might find Ben playing basketball, sitting around a bonfire, or fishing.

Zoey Crossley (she/her/hers)
Currently a Junior at MSU, Zoey is majoring in Applied Conservation Biology with minors in German and Anthropology. She is a part of RISE (Residential Initiative on the Study of the Environment) as a ULA for UGS 201 in fall semesters. Currently, she also works in Dr. Perry’s Park Connections Lab doing mountain bike research. This past summer she worked with the Huron River Watershed Council as an aquatic field volunteer intern.
With her degree she hopes to do aquatic ecosystem fieldwork, contributing to conservation efforts at ecosystem wide levels while protecting areas from climate change effects.
Zoey loves live music and sports, reading, board games, camping, and rings.

Victoria Albany (she/her/hers)
Currently a Senior at MSU studying ESS with a minor in business. She has been working as a student recycling assistant at the MSU recycling center for over a year and is completing an internship with them going into her senior year.
With her background in sustainability, business, and recycling she hopes to pursue a career in waste management.
She enjoys playing with her dog Pico, thrifting, going to the movies, and collecting vinyl.

Cora Wegner (she/her/hers)
Currently a Junior at MSU, Cora is majoring in ESS with minors in Marine Biology and Ecosystem Management, Sustainable Natural Resource Recreation and Management, and Horticulture. This past summer, she studied abroad in South Africa where she participated in research for shark and coral reef conservation and worked on a cheetah rewilding reserve. Cora is currently a research assistant for a study on piglets.
With her future degree, she hopes to work in marine conservation, researching ways to improve rehabilitation efforts in our oceans.
Some of her favorite things include reading, yoga, running, matcha, and thrifting with friends.

AJ Johnson (she/her/hers)
AJ is currently a Junior majoring in ESS with a business minor. This summer she worked as a product sustainability marketing intern (marketing for products with a focus on sustainability!).
Her favorite spot on campus is Spartan Stadium and her favorite CSUS class is 273, Travel and Tourism with the Dan McCole.
In her free time, AJ enjoys hiking, walking, yapping, snowboarding, almost any type of music, lifting, and spending time with friends.
