  • N & O Topics: Numbers and Operations is a category on the NWEA standardized assessments

  • Overview: Khan Academy Mappers is a program that is connected to Khan Academy. Khan Academy Mappers is a resource for teachers who give the NWEA MAP Test to their students. Teachers can input their student’s Math NWEA scores into the 5 categories to generate personalized study recommendations for each student.

  • N & O Topics: For grades 3, 4, and 5, Zearn has "Missions" that relate to Numbers & Operations in Base 10 and Numbers & Operations - Fractions

  • Overview: Zearn is an online K-5 curriculum that includes hands-on activities and instruction. It is aligned with Eureka Math and NY Engage. It creates engagement within each lesson and differentiates instruction based on the student’s weakness in each lesson. Teachers can import their classes and assign students lessons based on grade level. Students can work with partners or independently.

  • N & O Topics: Videos and lessons on arithmetic (e.g. Comparing Decimals) and fractions (e.g. Keep, Change, Flip)

  • Overview: NUMBEROCK produces catchy, informative songs. The videos cover the mathematical topics of arithmetic, fractions, geometry, measurement, and data and graphs. Teachers can search for videos by topic, grade level, and standard. If teachers pay for a subscription, they have access to lesson plans, worksheets, games, anchor charts, and printable and digital self-graded Google Classroom task cards.

  • Cost: The NUMBEROCK videos are free to watch, and many of the videos are available on their YouTube channel as well. To access more content for a lesson, teachers do need to pay a subscription fee. After a 30 day free trial, it costs $4.95 per month.

  • N & O Topics: Videos and lessons on addition and subtraction (e.g. Subtraction with Regrouping), multiplication and division (e.g. Long Division), and numbers and operations (e.g. Converting Fractions to Decimals)

  • Overview: Flocabulary produces catchy, informative hip-hop songs. The videos cover the mathematical topics of addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, numbers and operations, expressions and equations, geometry and measurement, statistics and probability, and ratios and proportional relationships. Included with each video are vocab cards, a vocab game, a read and respond, a quiz, and a lyric lab.

  • Cost: Teachers can sign up for a 30 day free trial, but otherwise the website contains paid content. There are three different payment plans: Lite ($10 per month for individual teachers), School, and District.

  • N & O Topics: Worksheets can be found by searching up by standard (e.g. 4.NBT.1) or by topic (e.g. Rounding)

  • Overview: The worksheets on this website correlate with the Common Core State Standards. Teachers can select worksheets by topic (e.g. Decimals) and by grade level standard. Worksheets come in different versions and can be downloaded as flashcards. In addition, teachers can create their own tests and flashcards on this website.
