Ten Cents a Meal for School Kids and Farms

53.20% children eligible for free and reduced-price meals received meals with local foods through the 10 Cents a Meal program in 2021.

Approximately 30% (438,000) of all K-12 children in Michigan were served meals with local foods through the 10 Cents a Meal program in 2021.

11,600 children in early care and education (ECE) settings children in Michigan were served meals with local foods through the 10 Cents a Meal program in 2021.
