About Me

Hello! Thank you so much for coming to my portfolio! My name is Katherine Byrne. I am a Spanish Teacher from Western New York. I currently teach grades 7-11 as well as a World Language Club. I am in my final semester of Michigan State University's Master of Arts in Foreign Language Teaching Program. Before MAFLT, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language and Adolescence Education from Alfred University. I also studied abroad at the University of Salamanca in Spain, for several weeks. My main goal in teaching, is to help students become more culturally and communicatively competent!
