The smart model

For my Summer 2021 Experiential Module, I chose to conduct a materials design project designed towards preparing teachers towards designing listening activities. This project researched the best elements to identify, when selecting media and websites listening activities. As technology continues, Foreign language teachers are given so many different websites and ways to teach listening assessment. One item that is not as discussed, is how to sort through all the resources in order to find the best materials for their specific students and units. My research both lists the best items to look for, as well as websites where this can be implemented quickly and efficiently. For my project, I created a Google Site, with examples of listening materials. I also created a literature review of research based on listening activities and a rationale.
