Mobile Applications:
As I briefly mentioned before, there is indeed a Warriors app which is displayed on their official website. It is the only app they currently have, but hopefully they’ll introduce a gaming app after the release of their upcoming Warriors film.
As described on the website, this app features information such as “100 entries full of exclusive facts about the cats and Clans,” or the ability to “Keep track of which Warriors book you’ve read and download the ones you haven’t.” It is available on both the app store and play store. In my view, the app is outdated in its software and usability, but it is free and still updates the books and news which for the sake of an informational app is all it really needs to do. That being said, I will still advocate a Warrior’s game!
Warriors Film:
There are a few articles dating back to last year on Warriors upcoming film. That being said, Warriors isn’t mainstream by no means; That is, it isn’t like Harry Potter or Hunger Games, but Warriors still has a large fanbase that may or may not increase after the release of the film, depending on how great the film ends up. I would like to see something with the graphics of Guardians of Ga’hoole, but not the butchered plot, as many Ga’hoole fans state the movie is nothing like the books…That’s the fear of any reader, isn’t it? The film industry hardly ever portrays the books they’re representing perfectly, sometimes astonishing poorly, but if they find a middle ground with Warriors I’d be happy. That being said, here are comments on the Ga’hoole trailer about its animation:
