For each video, consider:
What is the teacher doing that aligns with your current understanding of this principle? (These can go in the "Examples" box of your Frayer model)
What would it look like if the teacher was NOT enacting this Autonomy principle in the video? In other words, what are the less autonomy-supportive/more controlling alternatives that the teacher could have chosen instead when facilitating this activity? (These can go in the "Non-Examples" box of your Frayer model)
Video 1: Drawing Game (1:06) - The teacher has students draw on mini white boards before using them for an academic task.
Video 2: Two-Minute Break (1:31) - An example of a teacher's daily routine of giving her class a two-minute break during the lesson.
Video 3: Grade Concerns (0:30) - The teacher provides guidelines for how students can voice concerns about their grade.
Video 4: Taking a Break (0:34) - A student who is struggling with an academic task asks to take a break.
