ALL State Police Personnel from OUT of STATE

Units should park at the Maine Mall parking lot 380 Gorham Road in South Portland and use the shuttle service to the staging area located at the Portland Fish Pier on Commercial Street in Portland. Buses will begin moving personnel to staging from 0700 hours to 0830 hours.

Platoon leaders will be at the staging area and ready to assemble individual units into platoons. Under the direction of the platoon leaders, units will proceed in platoon formation from Commercial Street to Spring Street. Platoons will assemble in funeral detail formation on Spring Street beside the Cross Insurance Arena.

Once Detective Benjamin J. Campbell has entered the Cross Insurance Arena units will march inside the venue and your platoon leader will have specific instructions. Units will be marched into their seats and seated.

At the conclusion of the ceremony the platoon leader will file units out of the venue back to Spring Street beside the Cross Insurance Arena and will wait to render final honors to Detective Benjamin J. Campbell as he is carried outside from the arena. Units will be dismissed from their formations when Detective Benjamin J. Campbell is escorted away from the venue.

At the completion of the ceremony, uniformed personnel should make the short walk to the Portland Fish Pier (1 Portland Fish Pier) at the intersection of Center Street and Commercial Street where all personnel will be directed to the appropriate bus back to their designated parking area.
