Rules
Mr. Blaydon's Classroom Rules:
1. Treat other people the way you want them to treat you.
2. Listen
3. Follow Instructions
4. Do Your Best
GAME PLAN
As in any game, there are POINTS to be earned and PENALTIES to be avoided.
Students earn POINTS when the rules are followed. PENALTIES take away POINTS when the rules are broken.
POINTS
For the Individual Student:
1. Verbal Praise
2. Green Cube
10 green cubes by Friday = email home!
For Partners or Small Groups:
1. Verbal Praise
2. Penny in jar
26 cents = fruit snack treat
For the Class:
1. Verbal Praise
2. 'Point' mark on the board:
10 points = five extra minutes of recess or save in bank
20 points = 15 extra minutes of recess or save in bank
30 points = video party or a new toy/game for the classroom
PENALTIES
For the Individual Student:
1. Verbal Warning
2. Red Cube
Two red cubes = loss of recess, phone call home
Three red cubes = loss of recess, phone call home, visit with Mrs. Holman
For Partners or Small Groups:
1. Verbal Warning
2. Penny removed from jar
For the Class:
1. Verbal Warning
2. 'Penalty' mark on the board
One penalty mark takes away one point
The amount of cubes needed for an email call may increase quarterly.
Severe violations will be dealt with directly by Mrs. Holman.
